Teaching traditional breadmaking techniques
– the best thing since sliced bread!

My name is Tom Lyne and I am the host and director of The Bread Lyne.
I know first-hand the joy and satisfaction that comes from cooking for myself, my friends and my family and I want to encourage people to get back in touch with making the most fundamental and wonderful of foods – BREAD!

There are many breadmaking processes and techniques.
I will show you my methods for making and handling dough, with tips and advice along the way that will help you to achieve a good loaf.
My experience will help you discover the most useful tips and techniques for your own breadmaking journey.
The breadmaking workshops work through traditional methods and techniques step by step.
While learning and baking together in a group the conversation will revolve around bread, ingredients, techniques and bread stories.
No experience necessary, any skill level welcome and you will take your freshly baked bread home.

I will get you on your way to making the tastiest, freshest, most personal loaf you have ever served!
