Hello
My name is Tom Lyne and I am the host and director of The Bread Lyne.
In a world surrounded by instant everything and ‘Just Eat, Don’t Cook’, it is more important than ever to get back to the kitchen and make our own food from scratch. I know first-hand the joy and satisfaction that comes from cooking for myself, my friends and my family.
I want to encourage people to get back in touch with making the most fundamental and wonderful of foods – BREAD! There are a myriad of breadmaking processes and techniques. I will show you my methods for making and handling dough, with tips and advice along the way that will help you achieve a good loaf. My experience can help you discover the most useful tips and techniques for your own breadmaking journey.
I am not going to turn anyone into an artisan bread guru, but I will get you on your way to making the tastiest, freshest, most personal loaf you have ever served.
